I created this plaque for QPop’s Shaw Brothers Tribute group show in 2015. This was the second plaque I created for a QPop show and I knew I wanted to go even bigger and weirder than my Qilin Kitty piece so I chose to depict The Boxer’s Omen, a wonderfully strange movie from the Shaw Brother’s black magic phase in the 80s.

Boxer’s Omen Plaque was laser cut on multi-layered birch wood and hand painted with acrylic and oil paint. Plaque measured 14 in wide x 26 in tall x .75 in thick.
