I have two close friends who suffer from extreme Bipolar Disorder and I've witnessed it absolutely destroy their professional and personal lives in a matter of weeks. It's hard to watch and try to help from the outside, but I can only imagine what it must feel like being in the center of that hurricane of physical energy and irrational thought.
