I've always loved mischievous fairies and especially Brian Froud. I remember checking out every fairytale book available at my local library. When I designed this painting, which I later produced into a sticker, I wanted to imbue this fairy with a little danger, which was hard to do considering this fairy's small size.

Ink Cap Fairy was painted on 9" x 12" 140 lb watercolor paper.
