I created this plaque for QPop Gallery’s Gainax Tribute group show in 2015. I’m a big fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Hideaki Anno’s designs and I knew I wanted to depict one of the more disturbing elements from Eva. This was also the first big piece that gave me a chance to play around with mixed media.

Lilith Plaque was laser cut on multi-layered birch wood and acrylic plastic, hand painted with wood stain and acrylic paint, and accented with steel bolts. Plaque measured 20" width x 20.75" height
